Curriculum Vitae

Research Interest

Current research areas include:

  1. Molecular basis of abnormal excitation-contraction coupling in hypertrophic and idiopathic dilated cardiomypathy, and congestive heart failure using genetic, molecular biology, electrophysiologic, biochemical approaches.

  2. Efficiency, efficacy and adverse effect of ex vivo and in vivo gene therapy in heart transplantation and congestive hear failure.

  3. Heterogeneity of cardiac depolarization and repolarization in the mechanism of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias using Monophasic action potential mapping technique.

  4. Thyroid hormones effect on cardiac electrophysiological properties using patch clamp, molecular biology techniques.
