The UCLA and Olive View-UCLA
Medical Centers are pleased to offer a comprehensive selection of fellowship
training opportunities including a focused clinical tract or combined
research and clinical training leading to an advanced degree (STAR). All
applicants will receive training in clinical cardiology at the UCLA Medical
Center, one of the nations premiere medical centers and Olive View-UCLA Medical
Center, a 377-bed county hospital located in the north end of the San
Fernando Valley. In the STAR tract, comprehensive training in clinical
cardiology is combined with training in basic and clinical cardiovascular
research. Advanced research training in basic science, health services, and
in clinical research is available through the UCLA STAR Program,
which leads to a Ph.D. degree
or MS degree in clinical research. Opportunities exist for clinical research
training in electrophysiology, noninvasive cardiology, interventional
cardiology, heart failure/transplantation, preventive cardiology, and adult
congenital heart disease.
Our goal is to train
leaders in academic cardiology for the 21st century. |
