RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

A variety of research projects are in progress in the Division of Cardiology. In addition to basic science research programs the Division is active in clinical research projects. Fellows are encouraged to participate in research projects and are supported in individual projects, which they may wish to pursue. The Division is well supplied with equipment and support personnel necessary for clinical investigation in all aspects of cardiovascular medicine and basic laboratory research. Animal research facilities are available, including the UCLA School of Medicine Vivarium for the care of animals.
