Interventional Cardiology Clinical Trials

EPIX Study:  A multi-center Phase IIa clinical trial of MS-325 for imaging both the coronary arteries and myocardial perfusion. The goal of the study is to assess the feasibility of using MS-325-enhanced-MRA for coronary angiography and cardiac perfusion imaging.  Recent technological advances in MRI hardware and software have improved cardiac MRI, overcoming many of the inherent difficulties in imaging the moving heart.

PERISCOPE Study:  The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the recurrence of cardiac events in patients with type 2 diabetes after 18-months of treatment with Actos or Amaryl in addition to standard diabetic therapy.

RESPECT Study:  Randomized Clinical Trial to evaluate closure of Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) versus medical management in the recurrence of cryptogenic stroke.
